WORLD CLASS FLY FISHING AT SOUTH FORK LODGE

The South Fork Lodge sits on a dramatic bend of the world-famous South Fork of The Snake River in scenic Swan Valley, Idaho. The Lodge sits on the bank of The Snake River, one of the premier tailwater fisheries in the United States. With world-class fly fishing, hospitality and dining in a stunning location, your trip will be a lovely and memorable experience for anglers and non-anglers alike.

TRAVELER CHECKLIST

Confirm Extension

We've been able to extend the group rate of $1250 per person for an additional night and full day of fishing (all meals included). Please let us know if you would like to extend and we will send you an invoice.

Decide on Travel Plan 

Due to our close proximity to Swan Valley (4 hr drive), we suggest driving to the South Fork Lodge. If you haven't already, please select your preferred choice below.

Review Packing List

Review the packing list below to ensure you're fully prepared with appropriate attire and items. 

SUGGESTED TRAVEL PLAN

The flight from SLC to Idaho Falls is 1 hour, with the added hassle of security and waiting time. Since the South Fork Lodge is a 4-hour drive away from the Wasatch Front, we recommend you drive from Salt Lake to the Lodge. Please select your preferred travel plan below. 

PACKING LIST

  • Medications, ibuprofen, and/or allergy meds

  • Sunglasses (polarized recommended) , hat, buff, SPF, chapstick & anything necessary for you to be outside all day 

  • Any necessary electronics

  • Casual warm clothing for evenings

  • Fishing Gear (if you wish to, the lodge will have anything you will need via the guides there as well)

  • Idaho fishing license for applicable days (you can do this at the lodge upon arrival)

  • Fishing shirts, quick-dry pants or shorts

  • Rain jacket,  gear for inclement weather 

  • Comfortable walking shoes,  sandals (outdoor, water types such as Tevas or Chacos)

  • Cash for tipping guides ($75-$100 is suggested per person, per day)

Conveniently located within the main lodge, these newly-remodeled suites will impress even the most discriminating traveler. In a Lodge room, you’re only steps away from the bar, guest lounge, and dining.

Each room offers one King bed, with options for comfortably sleeping more and an en suite bathroom. A private terrace overlooks the river providing the perfect place to relax and enjoy the peaceful sound of the moving waters.
